Intraverbal
A conversational response where what is said is based on what someone else just said.
An intraverbal involves answering a question, filling in a blank, or having a conversation where the response is controlled by another person's verbal behaviour, not by a physical object.
Saying 'Marco' when someone says 'Polo', or answering 'A dog' when asked 'What barks?' are intraverbals. This operant sits at the core of complex social interactions, answering questions, and academic learning.
