Standard Celeration Chart

A standardized logarithmic graph used in precision teaching to track learning changes over time.

The Standard Celeration Chart (SCC) is a semi-logarithmic chart that displays proportional changes in behaviour rate. Unlike linear graphs, a straight line on an SCC always represents the exact same relative rate of learning, which makes your visual analysis consistent.

Ogden Lindsley developed the SCC for Precision Teaching. It lets you project learning trajectories and make data-based decisions before a learner plateaus. The uniform scale accommodates behaviours ranging from one per day to 1,000 per minute without changing the chart layout.
